I participated in interviews with the senior adults and directors of senior centres in New York City to identify user needs and behaviour patterns that would inform our design. I synthesized interview notes into insights to be used as artifacts.

I conducted data analysis and research on communications channels of over 600 senior centres in New York City. This work was important to identify the necessary technology to be used in software development and deployment.

I proofread the final versions of the Internet of Things Strategy publication—a detailed document about best practices for other governments and agencies when implementing IoT projects. My job was to make sure the formatting is consistent, and spot out any errors before publishing. In the process, I also created visuals for the publication to be promoted on social media.
